Reservoir Group Stars In UK Profitability League

The annual Sunday Times PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 was published for the 10th year on April 19th 2009.  This prestigious league table features the UK’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits measured over the last three years of available audited accounts.
Reservoir Group was the leading Scottish-based oilfield services company in the rankings, the second highest-ranked Scottish company, and the 16th-placed company in the UK as a whole.

CEO Pascal Bartette commented: “This reinforces the successful start the company has made on its journey to become a world-leading innovative down-hole tools and services group, and also highlights the strength of the financial platform from which we are building this vision.  A continued healthy growth in profits is key to making the investments we need to fund our ambitious plans.”

Chairman Peter Stuart, on behalf of Reservoir’s private equity backers, SCF Partners, added: “This award endorses the strong progress the group has made since it was formed in May 2007 and, from a shareholder perspective, it is very heartening to see objective acknowledgement of Reservoir’s strong financial performance given the tougher economic climate being experienced worldwide in 2009.”
